So today I found out there is indeed a lift in Avenue campus. It’s a bit hidden away without signage but there’s a lift 👍
Hi it’s me and I’m back to talk about the bus issue again DESPITE getting an email solutions were being implemented. So let’s see how many buses it takes today for a disabled student to get home.

Goodness things have improved as I’m on the second bus with not much breathing space. Still people standing on the stairs so can’t say it’s a safe bus journey though.

OCD is so much more than people think it is. Fear of germs and contamination is just one type of obsession. Others include fear of harming others, disturbing sexual thoughts, a need for symmetry, fearing something bad might happen. OCD can latch on to literally anything.

Replying to @unilinkbus
@unilinkbus can we talk about how I’ve been waiting since 5PM at jubilee sports hall for a U1C - give in mind disabled so getting to interchange won’t happen - and there have been a total of 7 buses that have driven past completely full and unable to pick up students at the stop

I hate to be that person but if you’re on public transport and wildly coughing whatever you’ve got everywhere please re evaluate your life choices. Some of us can’t wear a mask 😬

PSA for autistic people, people with PTSD, and anyone else who is sensitive to sound (including owners of nervous pets): it sounds like church bells are gonna be rung for a full hour at noon tomorrow, so if you can get somewhere quiet, or can prep in some way for it, please do!

Good Lord, talk about brands hopping on the bandwagon like they just got a place in the Queen’s last will and testament.
Not exactly how I was expecting to tweet on returning but sure.

Hi #DisabilityTwitter and #PWD! I’m doing project on identity and person-first language around disability, and how preferences can change over time. I’m keen to know: do you identify as 'disabled' or 'someone with disability', why has that changed over the years? #NEISvoid
