There’s so many horrible people who’ve been the face of the NBA yet Wemby is facing bizarre levels of vilification the past few weeks.
Wemby always seemed like a good person. The Knicks being the “internets favourite” has caused him to be mass defamed and assaulted by fans.
Victor Wembanyama is more politically outspoken about his liberal values than any Knicks player. To frame his defeat as a victory against Trumpism is incredibly disgusting.
Meanwhile the Knicks organisation actually welcomed Trump and the Knicks players didn’t speak against it.

The Knicks, with Dolan, MSG surveillance, Rick Brunson’s history, Epstein class in attendance, pricing out fans are not the good guys defeating evil. And we wouldn’t have to get into this if u were normal about Wemby, who is experiencing the lows of superstardom at 22 years old.
