With all this rain and I’m learning my sump pump (probably more accurately the pipes) sounds like an demon for about 5 seconds at a time. Fun that it’s located directly below our bedroom.

In an effort to get back in shape and get the dog some exercise too, I went for my first run in the better part of a decade and holy shit, my cardiovascular fitness is absolute garbage.
Dog did fine though.

Dog had a big day. Hung out at the local biergarten in the afternoon, long walk, a lil' nap, then hung out with like 10 teachers at our house (in varying degrees of inebriation), stole a slice of pizza, and then had the zoomies in the back yard. Now, he's crashed suuuper hard.

Finally got around to mounting our TV on the wall in our newish house. New the walls were plaster, but discovered one section was drywall, where what looks like an old doorway was filled in when the house was renovated some (decades ago) and the floor plan changed.

Then, mocked the full thing out in Figma, and mocked out the mounting hardware so I knew which bits were going to be screwed into where I thought the studs where, and where I needed to use toggle bolts. Worked a charm!

Related, slowly I've been getting my whole house's floor plan into Figma. Adding elevations for particular walls as we figure out which artwork is going to go where.

Never made stuff with squash before, but was cutting some up tonight for some roast veg and now my hands are all weird afterwards. Tight and dry like glue dried on them. Apparently this is a thing? Not a fan.
