Our new study reaffirms the link between rising temperatures and increased ambulance dispatches. More needs to be done to keep people cool at home to reduce the excess demand on emergency healthcare services during heatwaves. 🚑🌡️🔥

Our new paper on the protective effects of building level passive cooling for improving indoor thermal stress for garment workers in Bangladesh. Rather than carbon intensive AC, green roofs could be one strategy amongst others needed to reduce worker risk. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

After monitoring the thermal conditions of a Bangladeshi garment factory for an entire year, we modelled the effects of sustainable building-level cooling interventions.
A related lab study to follow later this year.
