So first week back completed! I have absolutely loved being back, and actually starting with my class from the beginning and not part way through the year. They are such a wonderful bunch and I can't wait to spend the next year with them 😊💙 #lovemyjob #grateful #teaching

Had the opportunity of having a team of children take part in a hockey tournament... not going to lie, I absolutely loved it and really enjoyed getting into the cheering with the parents! We even came 2nd in the tournament which was great 🌟 #ilovemyjob

Survived my first ever parents evening the past two nights... wooooo! To be fair, it was lovely to get to meet and speak to the parents and what else was just as lovely was how many asked how I was and if I had settled in okay with the school 😍 #ididit #ECT #chuffed

My first World Book Day as a Teacher and I absolutely loved it... (yes I know this is a film but I also had the book for it too) 😊

Just experienced my first residential overnight trip with my class - it was brilliant being able to watch them explore and learn and push themselves with new activities and to really get to know them outside of school - I am now tucked up in bed ready for some sleep 😴 #lovemyjob

I think I can definitely say that today was my favourite teaching day! It was brilliant from start to finish! Absolutely chuffed 😁😁😁😁

And with that, my first 5 weeks as an ECT are complete. I still can't believe it's real. I'm so happy with the school I'm at, the class I have, the staff I work at - it really is a dream! Now for some time to recuperate and get over this lurgy I've had for the past 4 weeks 😂

Finished my first week at my new job, I can honestly say it has been one of the most amazing weeks. It was better than anything I could have imagined. I'm ready for a weekend off, but also can't wait to go back on Monday! 😊 hope everyone has a lovely, restful weekend! 💙

Nerves are really kicking in for my first official day as Class Teacher tomorrow with my own class. Trying to make sure I have everything prepared to start as I mean to go on! Wish me luck! #icandothis #atleastihope 😊

I can't believe I'm actually typing this out.... I have just had the amazing privilege of accepting a teaching position for Y3/Y4 in a lovely little school. I have no words, I am so happy! SO SO HAPPY! 😁😁 #ifinallydidit #mycareerstartsnow

Even though I'm not completing anything towards my ECT at the moment, I love doing supply. I get to be back in school and so flexible with the schools I visit and get to witness lots of amazing methods and techniques to magpie for myself in the future! #ECTSupply

Had my first day back in teaching today! I absolutely loved it! Felt so good to be back in the classroom 😍 now counting down the hours til 11pm when I can finally go home and sleep 😴

Does anyone have any advice on how to be prepared or what to have prepared for supply? I'm so excited to be able to get back in the classroom, but also terrified at getting the phone call and not being/feeling prepared at all! Any quick tips would be great! TIA 😊 @MrTs_NQTs

I love being able to see friends from school I've not seen in years 😍 the friendships where contact isn't always constant but you know the friendship is true and is always great when we can catch up 😊 just another bonus of being back home 😍

Trying not to feel deflated about still not having a job for September but it's so hard when it's all you've ever wanted and this is the last hurdle to that dream... Does anybody have any good recommendations for supply within the Midlands area? Thank you 😊 @MrTs_NQTs
