A very proud day for 99 Squadron and the Air Mobility Force, with seven personnel honoured to be invested into the Royal Victorian Order by His Majesty The King at Buckingham Palace for the role that they played in the repatriation of Her Majesty The Late Queen last year.

Great to join the fantastic team from the 47 Sqn C130 detachment, as we travelled home from Cyprus for the last time. An amazing period of outstanding service in support of UK Defence. @AirMobilityRAF @CdrAirWgAMF @RAFBrizeNorton

We have taken delivery of the 22nd Atlas C1 (A400M) transport aircraft completing the delivery development & production phase.
The aircraft touched down at its new home of @RAFBrizeNorton from Seville where the Atlas is assembled including wings made in the UK

I could not be more proud of what the teams from across Defence, but especially @AirMobilityRAF, have done, and continue to do, in Sudan. A hugely complex endeavour, in a very difficult operating environment. It’s been humbling to watch team work at its very best.

The UK has evacuated more than 2,100 people from Sudan thanks to the efforts of UK Government staff and the military who have been working around the clock on the evacuation.
