This was Pongo Aweil saw Mill . It used to be the most productive saw mill in the entire Bahr El Ghazal Province ( BGP) then . Supplying entire Province with finished wood teak and mohgony. It was operational until 1985 .

I visited , one of the oldest freedom fighter 90 years old Chief Alphnose Oloro, yesterday . Uncle Olorodit, joined Anya nya one with my late father Chief Mawut Unguec Ajongo, in 1965 . They both joined SPLA in 1987.
