Wednesday May 27th, the High School celebrated its 39th Annual Scholastic Recognition Ceremony. Students from 9th - 12th grade were honored for maintaining a 90 or above average for each of the first three marking periods of the 2025-2026 school year. #GoTigers

Today, our National Honor Society group gave back to the Akron district today. They landscaped the water fountain by the Elementary playground and repainted the bricks out there. A full circle moment for some of our upper classmen! #GoTigers #OneAkron

Yesterday we had our annual election day for the 2026-2027 student government! The students were able to cast their votes with the help of the Erie County Board of Elections. #OneAkron #GoTigers

Our High School trip to Montreal has been filled with a lot of sightseeing, adventure, and fun! Students and staff on the trip got to see 'Old Montreal' which included places like Notre Dame du Quebec cathedral, the Bonsecours Chapel, and Place d' Armes. #OneAkron #GoTigers

Congratulations to Ben Gerstung for earning an award for Best Use of Color in his painting "Wabi Sabi" at the Storr's All High Art Show this Sunday at the Kenan Center in Lockport. Anna Bergman earned an Honorable Mention Award for her drawing "The Watchful Gaze." #GoTigers

130 high school music students traveled to Kleinhan's Music Hall to see the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra perform Disney In Concert.  The students thoroughly enjoyed the performances.  Highlights included music from Frozen, Aladdin, Hercules, and more! #OneAkron #GoTigers

Before kicking off the April break our students got to enjoy some Wellness Day activities! Some of the activities included Hydration Masks, Playing with puppies, Mario Kart, Just Dance, an Escape Room, Calming Music, Coloring, & some sports games in our Gyms! #GoTigers #Wellness

Akron's Musical Production of 'Into the Woods' is this weekend! Today, our musical was performed in front of the students to get ready for the premiere. We have our first show Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Followed by two shows on Saturday at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. #GoTigers #OneAkron
