It would seem things like USAID & Peace Corps, where we acknowledge our privilege so much we help other countries by meeting them where they are, is preferable to the mindset of conserving a crippling county… but people think litter is a homeless issue…

Everyone should volunteer at a food bank at least once in your lifetime.
It’s important to see that world hunger is a distribution problem, not a scarcity issue.
Learning there’s enough for everyone and it’s just a matter of making sure it doesn’t spoil changes you.

Reminder for those who need to hear it regarding litter…
It is not a uniquely homeless behavior and stems from our collective consumption methods.
Oh and 30-40% of litter is used cigarette butts.

So frustrating to not see pushback from the “moderator”
No questioning of his core beliefs like whether we should aspire to give all humans access to water and electricity but instead letting him make it sound almost inevitable that intelligence (knowledge) be privatized.

Why is the first thing I witness out my window this morning someone refusing to yield to a pedestrian and their dog in a crosswalk?
Like why is it so difficult to hold a hierarchy in our heads?
If your commute is more comfortable you need to be more considerate!

They want to send their kids to private schools on your dime.

I've been sent video from the end of the ICE raid at the Zipps on 32nd and Shea.
It shows protesters -- on the sidewalk, impeding no one -- getting drive-by maced by an ICE agent from a truck as it rolls away down the road.
Hard to see how such tactics are justifiable.
