18 months ago I did a video working out the probability of two brothers dead-heating a race. I worked out that if they rode in 200 races against each other per year it would take 14,000 years to happen again. It just happened again.
Though there was a lot of attention within racing towards the sentimental achievement we had just witnessed, many missed just what a mathematical improbability this was
Thought this deserved to be higher than 40th on the @BBCSport app, thoughts @nickluck@itvracing ?
1 in 2.8 million multiplied by itself: 1 in 7.84 trillion chance of two specific people dead-heating twice. Just waiting for someone to tell me how internet incorrect I am. lol

We invited Sean Bowen & Brendan Powell to a photoshoot, but there was a twist in store for them... cue Joe Tizzard & Alan Johns!

No wonder the bend before 2 out on the Chase course was riding tight, virtually a 90 degree turn. Surely the rails should cut the corner more to allow a much smoother turn?
Suggested line. Horses canโt go out and turn in tight and hit the apex like in motor racing at this juncture in a race as if someone appeared on your inside you would have allow them space. They would then carry you wide after the bend.
