If I would start off again today to become a professional music composer: 1. Getting familiar with the basics of music theory and sound design and listen to as many CI sounds as possible per day and analyze them to bits.

I often times sat down and just trying to focus on a single instrument during an entire playthrough. Then picking another instrument and listened to the same track again ... and again, and again.
