You become an entertainer when you stream. A lot of people watch streams to ESCAPE some form of negativity in their own lives. They don't want to constantly hear yours because they need that fun and entertainment too.
Of course, I agree complaining sometimes is perfectly reasonable because it humanizes streamers which I find important.
A major turn-off for me when watching streams is when the streamer is constantly negative. Like nothing ever makes them happy. I don’t mind occasional complaining, but I don’t want that bad mojo rubbing off on me.

I had a friend who was playing Valorant with another VTuber for about two hours. After a while, they started inviting some friends to join. I was just watching his stream when he suddenly said, “Yo, you should join!”
I replied, “Okay, I’ll join lol,” pretty casually since I wasn’t that invested. But man, I’m so glad I did. I instantly vibed with their collab partner. We clicked right away and matched each other’s energy perfectly. And we collab'd later on. It was so cool.

Sorry, long post incoming. Before I started Vtubing, I was mentally preparing myself for the worst. I knew that having brown skin was a debuff and could attract hate, but I didn't want to use a fair skinned model and then have people mad at me for "lying". *cont*

People can change, but it usually requires actual accountability and consistent actions over a long time.
Have you ever met someone who you know is being fake as fuck but everyone else falls for it? 🤔
Then when they get caught they just "rebrand" and say they've changed.

Normally wouldn't care about stuff like this, but being falsely banned in a chat because your team is salty is childish and unprofessional. Played Premier against @Thylesia_'s team. They're upset that I'm D1 in a the game, we have played against Diamond players in the past.

Thank you for keeping the original thread so positive. I'm glad I was able to open the door for people to share their negative experiences without getting dogpiled. I really appreciate the genuine stories. It takes a lot to be vulnerable. It even reminded me of a secondary story I had buried deep that I ended up sharing later on.
