@DevrelUni update 4: I spent 90 minutes researching a product idea and killed it. Most builders don't even take that step π
Built an MCP tool that does this automatically using sourced data & 5 approval gates. Calling it - Veto.

asked it to check pricing anchors for "a focus app" as a test
it pulled live pricing from 4 competitors, flagged parser misfires honestly, and surfaced a finding π§΅

So I'll be building an MCP for certain kinds of research and a frontend for it. Been wanting to build an MCP and some agents for a while now π

Update: Spun up a basic MCP. Def not the hard part. The hard part was figuring out what type of MCP could actually be useful when you already have Opus in your pocket.
As of right now (changes daily) I'm liking the direction of building out a sort of product/idea validation MCP

Last week I went back n worth with Claude on this product idea I've had for a while, and turns out .. it would be a bad idea to build .. very saturated market, high churn, low LTV, straight up a waste of time
So quickly tackling an idea from multiple angles via MCP sounds good

I tried to build a game (an area Iβm an n00b in.) The results are amusingly disastrous - I never before coded a decent game.
But Iβll crack out backend services w AI rapidly - because I coded dozens of them beforeβ¦
