I'm blown away by this EXCELLENT piece of @CNN reporting. This journalist @katie_polglase demonstrates how to conduct interviews with Epstein associates. She had this guy sweating, because she did her homework. Bravo. (Worth getting through the ad to watch.)...cnn.com/2026/06/11/world/vid…

That is some wild, unhinged stuff from the President. Welker is a good person and honest journalist and didn’t deserve that but more importantly we have a president who constantly pushes conspiracy theories with zero evidence and can’t respond when politely challenged on that.
Here's the full chain of events that led to Trump storming out of his interview with Kristin Welker, beginning with her pressing him on the weaponization fund, continuing with her pointing out the baselessness of his "rigged election" lies, and concluding with him calling her "crooked or stupid" and leaving

CNN's @KFile reports on evidence that undercuts Senate candidate Graham Platner's claim that he only learned of his tattoo's Nazi associations last year. A woman who previously spoke to CNN anonymously is now going public, saying Platner referred to the image as "my Totenkopf" years before the controversy. She also provided CNN text messages showing that months before Platner says he learned the symbol's Nazi meaning, she was discussing among her friends.

WSJ reports from inside the senators meeting with Platner. Some interesting details where his biggest backers pressed him if any additional allegations were coming. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders asked Platner if any additional allegations would emerge against the embattled Democratic candidate, according to people familiar with the discussion. Platner said there weren’t any. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who also attended the meeting, followed up and said there is a big difference between marital issues and allegations of sexual assault, the people said. Platner agreed and denied any credible allegations of assault were forthcoming.  wsj.com/politics/policy/sena…

CNN spoke with more than a dozen current and former female staffers who say they've faced harassment from House members or senior congressional staff, nearly all of whom chose not to report the incidents and still fear publicly naming their harassers. Their stories — told under the condition of anonymity over concerns of retribution and corroborated by CNN to the extent possible through interviews, text messages, photo evidence and settlement documents — reveal how women working on Capitol Hill often face structural and cultural shortcomings in Congress that disincentivize staffers from reporting misconduct. cnn.it/49U8uCP
