I always get a bit dreamy passing derelict farmhouses in remote locations. My route on Friday took me past this substantial building, roof still intact. I wonder what led to it being abandoned. I reckon it was the lack of a 4G signal š

Hi @UKRunChat & @UKCycleChat Iāve picked up a knee injury during marathon training š Walking alone is now a risky business and cycling on the turbo isnāt as pain-free as anticipated. Any tips for keeping cardio up while I await scan results to find out whatās going on?

Also itās nice to have a bimble somewhere pretty and then hit the pub for a pie and a pint afterwards.
I swear, nothing in the world tastes as good as a pub meal after a day being blown about by the wind and hauling yourself up steep inclines in the hills. Any hills.

When I go running out of daylight hours I adjust my route because, if anything happened to me on footpaths away from the main road, I know I would be put at fault for running in the āwrongā places on my own.
Men - do you have to plan for this?
