I deployed last night a tool that converts 99 file formats (all kinds of categories) 100% on the client side and without any data leaving the browser. With video and audio transcoding using the GPU when possible. Being local makes it blazing fast too.

Whatโs incredible is how energy dense fuel is. 60L of gasoline contains 5x the energy of a fully charged Tesla battery at less than 9% of the weight.
Itโs apples to oranges, but 1kg of gasoline has 50x the energy in a 1kg Lithium ion battery.
If we could magically extract the energy from gasoline without burning it, a Tesla model S range, assuming 60L tank, would be 3600 km or 2200 miles. And it would be 500kg lighter.

Internal combustion engines convert only 20-30% of fuel energy to motion, with 70% lost as heat.

It absolutely does. Routers have QoS (quality of service) algorithms that help keep the splitting of bandwidth fair among the active sessions. IDM downloads files across multiple seasons, tricking most QoS algorithms in the process and gets you more than your fair share of bandwidth.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.

We were in a Syrian restaurant in Berlin, our food arrived and the woman on the table next to ours simply stood up and took our 1yo baby so we can eat comfortably. Kept her entertained until we finished eating.

I love the Middle East because they have completely different instincts toward mothers babies than they do in the west.
When I had my baby in Canada, the nurses yelled at me for holding my baby next to me to sleep because they said it was โdangerousโ. But she cried when placed in the plastic bassinet across the room and I always disobeyed when they left the room.
When I had my second baby in the UAE, the nurses actually told me to hold my baby and not leave her in the bassinet because the baby was likely scared if she couldnโt smell me and wanted to be near me.
Basic biological instinct is something the west, with its scientism and impersonal bureaucratic tyranny, seems to have forgotten.
