My month long trip to Japan ends tomorrow. It’s been a great first time experience, and I’d really like to come back soon. I want to see more quiet places outside Tokyo. Those have been the spots I’ve enjoyed the most.

There’s also a cafe named Hontōni Oishii Coffee by my place that I adore. Not only is the coffee great, but the owner is an amazing person. Incredibly friendly, and has equally amazing regulars. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I visited the Fender flagship store in Harujuku yesterday. I was excited to try the Made in Japan models and they did not disappoint. I had to hold myself back from pulling the trigger on one of the Teles. I haven’t checked out any other guitar shops yet so that comes first!

I think my biggest culture shock so far in Japan is how many layers everyone wears. I’m warm in pants and a T, but most people are dressed in hoodies and jackets and I can’t imagine how they do it
