Asked about NYC only processing 14% of cash assistance applications within the legally required timeframe, Mayor Adams says he "inherited a mess in the bureaucracy."
But in FY21 (the second half of which Adams was in office for), NYC's timeliness processing rate was 95.4%.

BREAKING: The NYPD's wasteful and dystopian robot will no longer patrol the Times Square subway station.
Its deployment breached the POST Act, which requires basic transparency over the NYPD's proposed use of invasive technologies. Good riddance!
