I Am Your Los Angeles 2026 Regional Champion! Thanks for all the love and support. I could not have played a better opponent and friend in @0EL1TE0. I took a step back in prep leading into LA and it worked as a mental reset. I kept the foundations of my Orlando team and tweaked it for the meta shift I observed. I truly believed that the Dartrix Aegislash core could win and it did! I will say the unsung hero of the team ESPECIALLY day 1 was Diggersby who I decided to add after playing the Friday challenge and wanting more fort coverage! So many things led to this moment and I can’t believe it’s finally here! Thanks to @brandomeyerdev for the couch to stay on this weekend and all the laughs! Thanks to @Chrispyy20 for trading me the Dartrix! I’m so grateful for this community and I can’t wait to see you all again at NAIC!

We lost someone truly special this week, John Hudson. John Hudson passed away at 23 after living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Heroes aren’t measured by the size of their strength, but by the size of their heart. And John had one of the biggest hearts we’ve ever known. He faced EB with courage, always thinking about others, always finding a way to show up, especially for younger kids walking the same path. He believed, deeply, that his life could help change what comes next. And it did. John Hudson shared his story with millions. Not to be seen, but to help others feel seen. He carried himself with humor, warmth, and a presence that stayed with you long after you met him. He loved cooking for his family, Japanese culture, Disney, the New York Rangers, and all things Marvel. He had a way of connecting with people that felt easy, real, and lasting. Here’s a tribute from EBRP co-founder Eddie Vedder, who honored John Hudson on stage in Japan, one of John’s favorite places, and dedicated “I Won’t Back Down” to his memory. Through Special Books by Special Kids, John Hudson reached millions, not just because of EB, but because of who he was. His friendship with Chris, the channel’s host, showed the world what real connection looks like and inspired all of us in ways we’ll carry forward. A superhero, in every sense of the word. In memoriam, John Hudson. We love you. Sending all our love to his mom, Faye, and the Dilgen family.

I know many players are travelling from the US, Canada, and Australia to Brazil for LAIC - please double check the Visa requirements for entry because there have been some changes this year. A handful of players I know with travel plans to LAIC haven’t submitted information for their eVisa and it can take upwards of 10 business days to receive (Camille is day 10 tomorrow without an eVisa right now). I would hate for y’all to get turned around at customs if there is a way to expedite the process or at least know that the requirements have changed for entry into Brazil. I’m hoping to see all of our friends in a few days - repost to spread awareness. The site we used was brazil.vfsevisa.com and I believe that is the official site used for eVisas. It might be at the point where you need to go to a Brazilian consulate to apply in person to expedite the process. I’m not 100% and this post is just to raise awareness in case some have forgotten - be sure to do your own research.
