Please keep the people of Sarangani in your prayers 🙏 Last Monday, many communities here experienced a traumatic earthquake, and just yesterday, some parts of Maasim were affected by heavy rains that caused flooding. I personally witnessed the situation firsthand, and it was heartbreaking to see that some people are still trying to recover from the impact of the earthquake while facing another challenge. To add to the difficulty, some areas are still experiencing power outages and unstable to no signal, making communication and access to updates even more challenging. Several aftershocks have also been felt, causing more fear and uncertainty among residents. Please include Sarangani and its people in your prayers, for safety, strength, comfort, and healing as they continue to recover from these difficult circumstances 🤍

Our third and final stop was at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Barangay Fatima, General Santos City. 🤍 For this distribution, we coordinated with the parish youth volunteers who have been tirelessly packing and preparing relief goods for families affected by the earthquake. The donations we turned over will be included in their next batch of relief goods bound for San Jose, General Santos City. Through your generosity, we were able to donate: 💧 6 gallons of water 💧 80 bottles of 1-liter drinking water 🥫 100 pcs. canned sardines 🍜 100 pcs. instant noodles 🌾 1½ sacks of rice (25 kilos per sack) One of their urgent requests was drinking water, as some affected areas continue to experience little to no water supply. That’s why we made sure to prioritize water in this distribution. To everyone who donated, shared our posts, and trusted us with your contributions—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
