This thread is a great reflection of the American political pundit class. A simple reflection on the different type of industrial policy goals induces a block and meltdown. Nothing impressive - either just a little discussions beyond the surface level.
The US fundamentally cannot do even a fraction of what it desires because all of it is all contradictory.
