You need just one person to say to you -
“I believe in you. You got this.”
And you’ll magically find energy and courage to do things that you wouldn’t have done before.
More importantly, that person also needs to say,
“If everything goes wrong, I’ll be there for you, and I’ll be there with you.
Burnout happens when you’re attempting all the things that you see other people do.
Without realising that they have deep meaningful relationships and friendships that you can’t see, and you assume falsely that you have to do it all alone.
That’s when burnout happens.
Because we, as individuals don’t have that sort of energy all by ourselves, all the time.
But in a friendship, in a relationship, and in a community, it’s remarkable how this works so well.
