"The most important economics book in years" Nothing less expected from my pal @arjun_jaya35005
Against Money by Mason and Jayadev is simply terrific, probably the best book I've read this year. From capital, to the interest rate, to GDP, they examine the ways in which the money form governs our lives and can observe social relations. Definitely recommend.

A recent paper by @amitbasole and @econarjun at @azimpremjiuniv asks what it means when those two things happen at the same time, and why an economy can look, by almost every headline measure, like it's doing well, while running a very different story underneath.
