🚨 Official: Yankurije Françoise (Fanny) has joined defending champions APR WVC on a two-year deal. Fanny arrives from Police WVC, where she spent the last two seasons and played a key role in helping the team win the 2024/25 National Volleyball League title. She began her volleyball career at St. Joseph Secondary School before joining RRA VC in Rwanda’s top-flight volleyball league in 2019. During her time with RRA, she won several trophies and finished as the second-highest scorer at the 2022 CAVB Women’s Club Championship in Tunisia. #KTSports

🚨 Official: Kwizera Pierre Marchal has been appointed as the new head coach of Gisagara Volleyball Club.🟠 Pierre replaces Yakan Guma Laurence, who resigned from his position as head coach last week. 🚨 Official: Gisagara VC head coach Yakan Guma Laurence has stepped down from his role at the club for personal reasons. In an open letter sent to the club’s management, Yakan stated that his resignation was made after careful consideration. During his time, he guided Gisagara VC back to the Rwanda Volleyball Playoffs after a two-season absence, but he did not make it to the final as the club was swept 3-0 by Police VC in the playoff semifinals. Beyond that, Yakan won one open tournament this season, the “BK Arena Volleyball Tournament,” and secured bronze medals at both the Memorial Rutsindura Tournament and the Climate Action VT #KTSports

In the men’s category, REG VC will face Police VC in the final, while Gisagara VC secured third.
