Dear @mymoneyview how does one get in touch with you? Email to care@ goes unresponded, and I can't get through to your phone number. In the ongoing saga of "I'm not the Amrith Kumar you want" (see hypecycles.com/2016/09/18/th…) you sent me a 100 page credit report of one of
your customers. No password, no protection, nothing. His PAN, voter registration, ration card, address, workplace, income, loan history (quite bad), ...
What protections does your customer have around data privacy and protection?
Elizabeth Bowen, writing about Aldous Huxley in 1936 applies just as well to #regenerative#AI today 🤔
“Mr. Huxley has been the alarming young man for a long time, a sort of perpetual clever nephew who can be relied on to flutter the lunch-party. Whatever will he say next?
he is expected to be relentless, to administer intellectual shocks. This attitude to Mr. Huxley, to which his early work has been given credit has been maintained, and strengthened, for about twenty years.”
Yes, sounds about right. I think “stupid person’s idea of a clever person” is a good description of regenerative AI as it stands today.

Just published a post on the @awscloud#database blog aws.amazon.com/blogs/databas…@dynamodb supports multi-active “Global Tables” and you can now work with them in DynamoDB Shell (ddbsh).
You can create, and manage replicas of Global tables with ddbsh version 0.3 and higher.
You can query them just as you would a regional table.
Note that version 0.4 which came out more recently also adds support for deletion protection DDL (through CREATE TABLE and ALTER TABLE).
Please do give it a try and provide feedback on other capabilities that you'd like to see in the shell. If you are a mac user, ddbsh is available with homebrew. The commands below will get you the latest version of ddbsh!
brew tap aws/tap
brew install aws-ddbsh
Looking forward to chatting with @tebanieo
about #AWS#dynamodb
tomorrow. If you are thinking about DynamoDB, or have been using it for a while, you may find this session interesting. Send us any questions you may have and we'll do our best to cover them.

#aws#dynamodb shell now has DDL support for global tables. I'd finished most of the code for this while I was traveling. Finally got it over the line earlier this week. See github.com/awslabs/dynamodb-… (see version 0.3)
anyone know of a good way to run an app in a secure environment on #android? Couldn’t get work profiles to work (only one #mdm per device) and multiple users appears to not be ready for prime time.

It is surprisingly good, and it will surely disrupt the market, and our lives in a very material way.
