Can we stop spreading the ridiculous idea that LLMs are the alpha and omega of building AI products?
AI existed before LLMs and solved hard problems LLMs still can’t.
Self-driving cars, autonomous agriculture, humanoids that can run/jump/backflip, and so on.
It’s just unbelievable to me that most of the attention in this space revolves around LLMs.
Yes, they are changing the world, our economy, social norms, etc. But few really understand that the complete reshape of our civilisation by AI will take many shapes and forms that go well beyond large language models.
