At what point exactly did Vercel think it was a good idea to make secret rotation on both Production AND Preview the default behavior? Yes, you have that three-dot menu where you can change it. And the next time you rotate it's back to rotating for all envs. Insane.

This is Anthropic's winning strategy to go back to 99.999% uptime.
Starting June 15, paid Claude plans can claim a dedicated monthly credit for programmatic usage. The credit covers usage of: - Claude Agent SDK - claude -p - Claude Code GitHub Actions - Third-party apps built on the Agent SDK

Be honest. Wouldn’t it be cool if muted words applied to ads? @nikitabier

@nikitabier since we are at it, let’s make muted words also work for translated content

I just told Opus 4.7 that it was overthinking things. And went on to turn its thinking level from Extra High to Max. Time to switch to 5.5

Can we stop spreading the ridiculous idea that LLMs are the alpha and omega of building AI products? AI existed before LLMs and solved hard problems LLMs still can’t. Self-driving cars, autonomous agriculture, humanoids that can run/jump/backflip, and so on. It’s just unbelievable to me that most of the attention in this space revolves around LLMs. Yes, they are changing the world, our economy, social norms, etc. But few really understand that the complete reshape of our civilisation by AI will take many shapes and forms that go well beyond large language models.

Kick back and enjoy the best decade of the century. Also, buy some $AAPL, go watch the theatrical release of The Empire Strikes Back and kill a few demogorgons before it becomes cool.

Hype around new models reminds me of hype there used to be around major web frameworks updates. The only difference is that it now happens almost every single day.
i don't want the latest and greatest. i want stability.

Couldn’t agree more. Lots of standing ovations on X today. But few recognize that a big part of the recent years of financial success heavily relied on the Jobs legacy. Excited to see Apple go back to its hardware identity with John.

Steve Ballmer was 57 when he stepped down as Microsoft CEO. Eric Schmidt was 55 at Google. Steve Jobs left the stage at 56. Tim Cook is very much an outlier. I don't think Apple's future has been served well by letting the logistics guy steer the ship so long.

5 hours in and only two X posts from Vercel. No direct communication to customers nor banner in their admin. The recommendation was to rotate all secrets since they might be compromised 👏 ⛅️

Our investigation has revealed that the incident originated from a third-party AI tool with hundreds of users whose Google Workspace OAuth app was compromised. We recommend that Google Workspace Administrators check for usage of this app immediately. vercel.com/kb/bulletin/verce…

Hey @sentry, how come your Vercel integration creates non-sensitive tokens that might have been compromised in this breach? Not cool.

We’ve identified a security incident that involved unauthorized access to certain internal Vercel systems, impacting a limited subset of customers. Please see our security bulletin: vercel.com/kb/bulletin/verce…

Incredible how easy it is to offend pickleball players. I’m not saying it can’t be fun. Just not a serious competitive sport.

Or just evidence that Pickleball is an absolute joke. Great mobility workout for toddlers and 70 yo though.

Supabase. Vercel. And more. Yet every single accelerator in the EU religiously teaches startups to be GDPR compliant on day 1 and have accounting books as clean as a pre-IPO unicorn.
Supabase is now big enough that it needs to collect VAT 😅

my mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. that's both an overwhelming diagnosis but also an overwhelming flood of information, documents, appointments, options and questions. i needed a place to keep track of it all and also a place to ask questions, do research and help my parents and family do the same. so, naturally, i built something. keptwell.org if you/you're family is navigating a serious diagnosis and want to use it, let me know (or drop your info in that waitlist box). not charging anything for it at the moment (and with as much AI as i've got layered into this, frankly it's gonna cost me a nice chunk of change to run it). but mostly interested in just making this as useful as possible to families going through long, complex and heavy situations.

Who hasn't experienced this in low-power mode? Completely unusable. x.com/BetaProfiles/status/20…

iOS 26 is laggier than iOS 18 when Low Power Mode and screen recording are enabled at the same time.

At which point will we be able to completely migrate off of Github? Their product is outdated. Infrastructure is unreliable. I just want my repos to live where my build infra is. @useblacksmith would be the logical solution until we shift to a new paradigm.
Switched from @github runners to @useblacksmith almost 2 months ago, now have the first full month of data. No joke: our CI run time is down 75% (faster) and cost is down 92% (cheaper). Unbelievable!

IT'S OFFICIAL. Google just deprecated their Gemini 2.5 models, with a retirement date set to October 2026. In the meantime, their Gemini 3 models still don't have the super affordable price point that 2.5 Flash Lite had. • Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite: $0.40/Mtok • Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite: $1.50/Mtok If you still haven't tried Gemma 4, you're clearly lagging behind.

The rise of Google Gemma 4 and self-hosted LLMs has begun. Expect more people buying Mac Studios this year.
