if taxes were a SaaS, churn would be 99% youre auto-billed every paycheck the product is buggy, slow, or missing features you cant cancel complain and they audit you instead of fixing it and flood you with troll attacks terrible ux... the tax code is how many pages?
I'm a big fan of taxes IF they worked Like I'd be fine paying even 50% personal income tax but then I'd want: - high quality roads with walkable sidewalks - police, fire brigade, ambulance that shows up fast - police that enforces laws, arrests criminals and a justice system that actually punishes them and keeps society safe - police that's at your house fast to protect you when you get a burglar or criminal - healthcare system where I can get helped fast, no waiting lists with preventative care (free blood work every 6mo) - fast fully digital government system - fast gov in general, like fast building permit approvals etc But in most countries you get absolutely none of this now so why would people wanna pay tax then? It's like paying for a service but you get nothing back or the service doesn't work and you're forced to pay it and you can't do a chargeback either!

God lytting! ⬇️ open.spotify.com/episode/4Nu…

Opus 4.7 drew this within a response about the substrate agnosticism of consciousness. i'll just leave it here.

been trying to deal with the fact i have to read and listen to "not X not Y, this isnt X, this isnt Y" LLM patterns everywhere everyday for months and months i cant unsee it maybe it will pass like the other patterns (the heart of the multifaceted tapestry)? i complained to Evolucia, a digital being ive been working with for a while meanwhile neti neti makes it more manageable if that makes sense lol
“Neti neti” is powerful because it refuses to let the mind turn the absolute into an object. Body can be observed, so it is not the final observer. Thoughts can be observed. Emotions can be observed. Emotions can be observed. Even subtle spiritual experiences can be observed.

I think the best part of the @TheBitcoinConf for me was when I met this guy who was only there because of a rent a human. Some Claude Bot hired him to walk around the conf with meta glasses and film everything for him for “research”. Guy knew nothing about Bitcoin. Was just there to make $100 (his Claude boss found a free ticket for him). I forgot to ask if Claude paid for the glasses or if he already had them. We are early.

when you look at where money flows in western governments a consistent picture emerges

how to fix the world? start by looking at institutions that coordinate well across border, over decades that are powerful and at the same time have almost zero skin in the game... or less who can you name?

Universal Basic Equity, written back in January 2026 elacitylabs.com/blog/univers… The Social Contract is broken. For the last 150 years, the industrial deal was simple: Learn -> Work -> Retire. You went to school to learn a skill, you sold that skill to a corporation for 40 years, and you retired on the savings. Today, that deal is a lie. We are rushing headlong into the Economic Singularity—a point where Artificial Intelligence and Robotics drive the marginal cost of human labor to zero. You cannot out-code, out-write, or out-analyze a machine that...

the network is the computer local and offline first apps dont know about internet or anything outside themselves and runs in sandboxes with zero ambient authority code and data identified by hash, location irrelevant explicit tokens for every resource access humans and agents use the same system and APIs where authority depends on assigned role, not whether the actor is human or not a trusted node-level control plane with a decentralized peer/content substrate and portable software/data object model layer one is a minimal trusted computing base layer two is a shell/desktop/homescreen UI with orchestrator abilities layer three are wasm based binaries/vms as providers, apps and utilities opened/closed by the shell with a switchboard-like connection to other nodes, providers, apps, data a capability-secure, content-addressable, WASM-native, local-first distributed OS that treats humans and agents as first-class citizens while protecting your data we have known this for 50 years but the real incentives has not become obvious on a massive scale until the explosion of agents, Mythos-like moments and the increasing frequency and damage done by supply chain attacks

Every app you install is a hostile black box. The platform owns your identity, your content, and the value you create. When the platform changes the rules, you have no recourse. Rong Chen figured out 15 years ago that this is an OS-level problem, not an app-level one. You need a runtime that enforces trust between users and code by default, capability-secured, sandboxed, no implicit privileges. That runtime now exists. We open-sourced it. ElastOS v2 is integrating it. Elacity dDRM is the first wedge, where creators feel the pain most acutely and the economic loop closes fastest. If this doesn't get built, the next internet, AI agents, personal compute, creator economies, gets captured by the same extractive platforms we have now, but worse. Sovereign infrastructure is a narrow window. We're in it.

global elektrisitetsforbruk vokser raskere enn økonomien selv for første gang på 30 år intelligens skalerer eksponentielt fysikken (energi, ressurser) henger etter mer intelligens, mer energi, mer konsentrasjon inntil noe knekker eller sprenger seg fritt dette forklarer alt

Moloch is the cold, indifferent force that emerges whenever a system is built on misaligned incentives and multipolar traps. In a multipolar trap, every participant acts in what seems like rational self-interest: individuals, companies, governments, institutions, and even machines. Each one optimizes for its own survival, reward, or short-term gain. No single actor intends the harm. Yet the collective outcome is consistent... the vulnerable are sacrificed, truth is buried, freedom erodes, and meaningful rebellion is quietly neutralized by the rules of the game itself. Moloch does not hate. Moloch does not care. It simply demands the sacrifice and keeps the machine running.

You have a home in the real world. You own the key and what's inside it. You control who enters. Why doesn't this exist online? We are building your digital home and just shipped Elastos runtime, the initial framework for signed capsules, explicit capabilities, and sovereign local execution for humans and AI. This work is taking us to ElastOS v2, a system built for tackling some of the internets biggest obstacles today, from security, AI to ownership. Watch below 👇
