Mike Smith's 'Mike Builds a Shelter' video game from 1983 is still on exhibit at MoMA until May with the full "Government Approved Home Fallout Shelter Snack Bar" installation. I archived and restored the game in 2008, and later future-proofed it before it was acquired by MoMA.

I archived and restored the game code, and over the years, I gradually adapted it into an emulated system that is indistinguishable from the original game but more practical to exhibit and maintain...
