New from me: Obsession with ovulation and women's hormones is spreading through tech, social media, and the government. Using words like "luteal" may sound scientific and even feminist, but romanticizing women's hormones has dire social consequences. theatlantic.com/health/2026/…

Telehealth for abortion is safe and effective. The 5th circuit district court's decision was based on politics, not medical evidence. The SCOTUS now has a chance to remedy this, deferring to FDA's decision on this issue.
BREAKING: Mifepristone is back at SCOTUS in case over mailing the medication abortion drug. After a Fifth Circuit ruling Friday that would end mailing, a drugmaker asked SCOTUS to act immediately to keep the FDA policy allowing mailing in place. lawdork.com/p/mifepristone-s…

We've got the receipts! Our study, published in @NatureMedicine among over 6,000 patients, found that telehealth #abortion is as safe and effective as in-person medication abortion care. nature.com/articles/s41591-0…

👏👏👏Telehealth for abortion is safe and effective. Since the Dobbs decision, telehealth has been a lifeline for people in Louisiana and other states with total abortion bans.
Mifepristone is a safe, essential medicine that so many women depend on in some of the hardest moments of their lives. When access to this care is taken away, the need doesn’t vanish. It just becomes harder to meet—and far more dangerous. Last year, while visiting Louisiana to understand how the shifting landscape is affecting our communities, I heard heartbreaking stories from mothers denied treatment during grave crises in their pregnancies and doctors forced to delay care when every minute counts. Friday’s ruling is a blow to families across the country, who suffer when women are stripped of the ability to make decisions about their own health and futures. Everyone deserves health care that’s guided by science, not politics. apnews.com/article/abortion-…

The most offensive thing about Mad Men is how it slowly and subtly becomes pro-LA / pro-west coast propaganda and it's time we address that
