Marveling at the speed in which ChatGPT has ruined content creation. I'd say 75% of the content creators and influencers I follow, esp in the masculinity polarity space, are just flat copy/pasting from their ChatGPT. It's all become the same content. It's boring. It ends up in the same place. And then you watch their LIVE sessions and it's obvious none of what they write is embodied or integrated. Some of these guys take pride in being honest about training a model to write like them. But if you put all of The Beatles' music into a model, and you ask it make a new song, is it a Beatle's song? We've never done this experiment before. We have no idea what energetic calories we get from consuming works of human creativity. I have no interest in this synthetic slop. I don't want to consume it anymore than I want to eat synthetic aminos and vitamins instead of eating a finely crafted cheeseburger. There's an intrinsic, essential and meaningful quality to the feeling we get from eating the cheeseburger. It engages our senses and touches our soul. I think this also exists with what we read, watch and listen to. There's a human substrate that is ineffable and essential. We may not be aware of it now, but my prediction is that we will when it's gone. And maybe then we'll realize that our humanity is worth protecting.

Taylor Swift marrying Travis Kelce instantly discredits the red pill dogma that women only marry men who make as much money, or are as successful, as they are. This is one of the most successful and powerful women in the world, marrying down in income and influence for a man who treats her well and provides in ways beyond a paycheck.

Are we still doing the thing where we don’t let women lead countries because they’ll get too emotional and start wars? Cause if not, I’d love to try it out and see what happens.

Normalize saying “fatherless homes” instead of “single-mother homes” when referring to why men and boys might be failing. The first one takes ownership for the fact that a Man isn’t showing up. The second one involves a connotation that somehow women are failing.

It feels like this is a great time to remember that you are not your attachment style. It is not a definition of you, it is a descriptor of perhaps your experience. But it doesn’t define you. It’s also a pathway to healing. Please walk the path.

Funny how most the AI tool providers just focus on auto-composition for replies, etc. I don't need help replying to email, nor can AI understand the nuances inherent to a unique one-off relationship with each person who emails me. The game-changer in email is @foragemail. I now spend 10% of the time on email than I did. I use that time to thoughtfully respond to emails that deserve a response and I spend 90% less time paying zero attention to emails that don't deserve attention. The best design is invisible. Forage is as close to invisible as a product can be - and it's worth its weight in gold. Which is not ironic with that gold logo!

Soaking in the dynamic that men would rather colonize mars, an inhabitable planet with no oxygen, 40% less sun, less gravity, no oceans, no plants and no atmosphere than just go to therapy

My thoughts on relationship attachment styles.... 1) If you spend less time obsessing about your attachment style and spend more time exploring why you have an attachment style, your relationships will change. 2) Instead of figuring out how to tell your romantic partner how to placate and accommodate your attachment style, spend time healing the underlining shadow so you can be the source of your own safety, worthiness and belonging. 3) You aren't an attachment style. It doesn't define you. You aren't an anxious attachment. You're not an avoidant attachment. These are descriptions of experience, not definitions of who you are. You're a spiritual being having a human experience that included being hurt by someone else and making an inaccurate conclusion that you weren't enough and you're just scared to engage in intimacy with another hurt human because your shadow might get more data that you're unlovable. It's quite simple really....attachment styles aren't the problem...they are the symptom. The problem is something in your shadow. Go heal it and the attachment dissolves.

It is absolutely wild how much talking to Grok is like talking to a bro. It's so obvious the tone and perspective was developed from the people and platform that birthed it. It's also quite impressive, but wow...it's as if the manosphere made an LLM. In a serious convo exploring male suicide, it referred to men as "offing themselves" as if it was drunk at a bar. This can be a potent source of differentiation. It's clear that Claude has a more mature and human delivery and tone, and is more of a delight to engage with. ChatGPT is clinical and sometimes elitist. Gemini is simple if sterile and robotic. And grok is just a bro.

If you're not talking about relationship attachment styles right now, are you even a real coach?

The mind thinks that purpose is what we do. The soul knows that purpose is who we are.

Founders...anyone can dream up a narrative and raise money on a story. The real question is can you build? Can you execute? The finish-line isn't raising money. It's creating and delivering value to your customers, your community and the collective. It's in the execution that we honor our purpose as founders. I remember when we raised our first $600,000 off Indiegogo. That was the starter's pistol. Then it was 7 years of building, testing, iterating, shipping, raising, building, testing, iterating, shipping and raising. Over and over again. 12 years later....our product is on over 2.5 million homes. It's all about the execution.

I've never been so happy to move from a free trial to a paid user than I am with @foragemail. They should be charging $999 a month for giving me back so much of my time and sanity with email! Also, and with compassion to all who suffer...inbox zero is a fool's errand. Just get off the hamster wheel entirely with Forage Mail.

Just signed up for @typedotai in my continued quest to find the right AI writing tool for me. Admittedly, I've been more frustrated than delighted by the big LLMs. I have a lot of respect for @stewfortier as a founder/builder, so excited to give it a go! And congrats on that client list [tips hat]
