Stumbled on some #RetroTech Just picked up Röyksopp CD in Chazza Played it lot back in my BGM Days, was on Coffee Shop, Fashion, Bar etc Playlists 1st time played it 20 years Its got CD Index Rarely used, it can break up Tracks Or in this case, hide bits, in P-Countdown sections

More faffing with mouldy Tapes today. Nice afternoon, so been spooling, cleaning & wiping outside. One was very bad, mould had crept into the Tape surface. Got there in the end A few dropouts where the oxide was damaged, but overall, I’m pleased with the results

Working through box of VHS-C Camcorder Tapes today Poor things have been kept in a shed & have suffered the consequences. Especially mould Despite a lot of TLC, it’s a struggle. It’s a cycle of Clogged Heads, Clean, Repeat Video Heads are tiny, fragile Components on the Drum

Todays #RetroTech #OldTat Arrival at AVAV Towers Cleveland AC39 Late 50s-ish UHF Band III to VHF Band I Converter Not tinkered yet. Was used to shift the New UHF TV Broadcasts down to VHF, for older sets. All rudimentary stuff back in the day

Enjoying our last summer walks, across the fields, watching the butterflies, birds, Kestrels, Woodpeckers etc, peace & quiet, to the pub. Before the bulldozers move in. 2,750 houses, 100 “Light Industrial Units” going up.
