That’s for sure—Mike Vernon was a force of nature & his name graced many masterpiece albums; he also was one minute from signing an unknown Johnny Winter before the Columbia records deal…great thx to Mike Vernon for all of the incredible music…
Mike produced records that changed the world. His work with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers single handily introduced the blues to an entire new generation and sparked the British blues boom. My life along with many others in music would look a lot different without his contributions. Rest in Peace.
