NEW THROW-IN WORLD RECORD! 🏆
Saturday was a special day.
At Dalby Stadium in Kolding, Denmark, I set a new world record for the longest throw-in distance achieved in one hour: 5,156 metres.
The attempt went so well that I had already broken the previous world record after just 36 minutes and 45 seconds, leaving more than 23 minutes on the clock.
The previous record stood at 4,324 metres and had been held since 2012.
A special part of the challenge was that I wore 9 different shirts during the attempt – shirts representing clubs where I have been part of winning titles as a throw-in coach.
In that way, the record attempt also became a tribute to the many players, coaches and staff members I have had the privilege of working with throughout my career.
At the same time, the event was used to raise funds for the Danish Childhood Cancer Foundation, making the day even more meaningful.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event, helped behind the scenes, donated, or followed the journey.
If you would like to support the fundraising campaign, donations are still welcome. Every contribution makes a difference.
Now the question is...
Should I try to break my own world record? 🤔⚽
