Camborne main street ( Trelowarren St) ; Tuesday 10 am, noone working ! "Improvement!?" The cost of this project is ,I suspect , astronomical. What a waste ! But all is not ' doom and gloom " ! A new "Vape " shop in the town has just opened, Yippee!!!

My classmates at RCGS ( circa 1959). These fine young lads , although some are sadly no longer with us, will be celebrating their 80th birthdays this year !! Happy 80th everyone. Great memories.# RCGS # Schooldays.

Delighted to be informed today by the DWP that , later this year, when I turn 80 , my OAP will increase by 25p per week ! If I save it for a year I could celebrate this generosity by buying a decent bottle of red wine!! Any better suggestions?

I read, with dismay/disappointment that Halifax and Lloyds Banks, in Camborne, are to close soon. A sad reflection of the current state of affairs; yet ,and I counted today, we have 6( at least) nail salons and ' umpteen ' Turkish barbers plus tattoo outlets!!
