Unlike other unique Devil Fruits that follow the pattern of repeating two syllables like aku-aku or devi-devi.
There’s a theory that Devil Fruits were born from "children’s imagination", which could explain why many of them have simple, playful names that even kids can easily relate to.
If that’s the case, then Imu’s “Akuma no Mi” might carry a different implication—it could represent something not born from imagination, but something created deliberately by adults as a tool for control and oppression.
