Great to see that our work with Back2School continues to take beautiful shape. It took a lot of faith to build a platform that simply connects children in urgent need of education with individuals and organizations willing to act, while providing seamless ways to do so. Nearly six months after launch, that vision is steadily coming to life. The stories of these children, their faces, and their voices are finding expression and resonating with people who otherwise would never have known they existed. From Germany to the US and the UK, people are stepping in and changing the futures of these children. Seeing that happen has been incredibly fulfilling. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Back2School and for the many children whose lives will be changed because someone, somewhere, chose to care. back2school.io

One of the most powerful ideas from Adetayo Manuwa’s TED Talk on the power of small encounters is that life can change through moments that seem ordinary at first, a conversation, an act of kindness, someone deciding to care. Sometimes, the future of a child hangs on one of those moments. On whether someone sees them, stops, and chooses to act. That is how societies change. Through people choosing, in small but intentional ways for the future they want to exit, not only through and speeches. Today, Wisdom gets another chance at education because one small encounter became action. There are many more children still waiting for that same opportunity. back2school.io

We’ve started working with One Community Project to secure inclusive education opportunities for children living in underserved communities in Nigeria. One Community Project brings a consistent approach to their work, especially in how they advocate for equity and collective prosperity. That way of thinking fits naturally with what we’re building. Together, we will Promote education equality in a way that is clear and sustainable.

For years, we supported children using manual systems, spreadsheets, and endless coordination. Then we built Back2School to change that. The Impact Manager now brings everything into one place so every child, every supporter, and every outcome can be managed with clarity.

Over the past decade, more than 3 million people have been displaced by conflict in Nigeria, and more than half of them are children (IOM). Many of these children now live in IDP camps scattered across the country. School, once part of their daily lives, has been interrupted for years. But when we met them, what we saw were children full of ideas and purpose. Some want to become doctors so communities like theirs never lack healthcare again. Others want to become teachers or soldiers so children growing up after them never face the same fear. Their homes were taken but their future does not have to be. Find a child whose story inspires you and support their journey back to school. ➡️back2school.io/product/explo…

We’re pleased to welcome Rach Finance as a partner on Back2School. Rach Finance can now implement their social value initiatives in education in a structured and transparent way. Through our platform, they can easily discover and support children in urgent need of education, while our impact management tools help them manage that support, measure impact, access reports and data, and stay closely connected to the success stories they’re helping create. We’re excited to continue working with Rach Finance and other partners who share our passion for improving education outcomes in underserved communities.

When financial strain and family health challenges disrupted Melody’s education, her dream of becoming a nurse felt further away. Today, that changes. Someone discovered Melody’s story on Back2School, felt moved by her dream, and chose to sponsor her education in full. We’ll continue sharing her progress as she steps back into the classroom. More children like Melody are waiting for a chance. Get to know their story on back2school.io

Philanthropy might be the only major industry that hasn’t really been optimized for the digital age. Banking evolved. Commerce evolved. Media evolved. But giving still feels opaque. We say the industry is built on transparency, yet most donors cannot clearly see the direct impact of their contribution. We talk about impact, yet the experience of engaging with it is often static and one-directional. With everything we know about UX and product design, the systems for doing good still feel traditional and tedious. Technology has transformed how we shop, learn, and communicate. It should also transform how we give. That’s why we’re building Back2school differently. The problem is real. The children are real. The impact is visible. When you can see who you’re supporting, understand their story, and see the impact of your contribution, giving becomes more personal and fulfilling than abstract. back2school.io
