After sitting in the police station for 2 hours, and after my lawyers arrived courtesy of @hazteoir, they released me with a fine. That’s what I was told, at least. However, this ticket has no fine on it. Their excuse is that I had a tripod. I set it up by a pole, out of everyone’s way. I had only been there for a few minutes. I had 50 yards of open space on either side of me, AND I OFFERED TO JUST HOLD IT IN MY HANDS. Problem solved. Or should have been. Once again, police have violated my rights just to get rid of me.
