Let’s talk about FAENORAVERSE! 👀
I’m a huge fan of unique genres in web3 games, and
@FaenoraVerse is a stellar example. Look, in web3, it feels like everyone’s obsessed with making team shooters using “mind-blowing UE5” that they barely know how to use, so their games end up unoptimized... but oke I’ll save that rant for another day.
The usual web3 trend: Shooters, card games, or both, often with a “metaverse” that’s just an empty hub where you meet another player and… that’s it. Why do web3 devs think this is some groundbreaking innovation? Multiplayer’s been around forever - stop calling tech demos “metaverses,” please <3
But back to FaenoraVerse - Despite the name suggesting another metaverse, it’s not. It’s a well-crafted game where everything fits. A pixel-art tactical RPG with old-school JRPG vibes, featuring rogue-like adventures and constant choices. This blend makes FAENORAVERSE unique in web3 - literally the only one of its kind right now. Just check my video and feel the old-school spirit of adventure that this game truly delivers 👇👇👇
Recently, they’ve got backing from
@uprising_labs and they’ve got a cool event coming up - check it out here:

Honestly, chasing fancy graphics and recycling web2 game formulas into web3 is a tired idea, proven dead by the pile of projects that shut down this year, lol. Devs like these, who take the road less traveled, deserve way more love. Sooo 🫳🫳🫳
Keep an eye on
