Barely sleeping these days amidst hectic work and this new engagement of mine thatās giving me butterflies in the stomach. š

Something that came up while chatting with my sister about the film:
At a time when the world has so much negativity and people are loving violence-filled films like Animal and Dhurandhar, #ProjectHailMary is a breath of fresh air. Itās the hope and positivity the world needs.

Watched the much-talked about movie of the week #projecthailmary and now I kind of get why all one could see people post was āšā.
I think, thanks to the hype, I went in expecting some #Interstellar level wowness, and that made it disappointing (yes!)

Itās a great film. Love the visuals. Love the theme. Definitely worth watching on IMAX. And I would like to rewatch it sometime again for the optimism.
But I felt some level of depth missing. I mean, I wanted to empathise and for the movie to make me cry- it just didnāt happen.

Went for a 7.30 am show today. Am I back in college or what!? šš
Went to PVR Priya after over a decade, I think. Used to love this place earlier for the humongous size of the screen. And now, the refurbished cinema with #IMAX is even more cool!

Went to Lucknow for a very close college friendās engagement. He lives in the UK and we met after 4 years. I had met his parents once some 7-8 years ago but Aunty recognised me immediately.
Moreover, half his extended family knew me including my full name (which isnāt easy š¬).

Felt so loved and humbled! His cousins ensured I wasnāt feeling left out or bored since I didnāt know anyone there. We sat till 4 AM talking, laughing, drinking,dancing š
Iāll perhaps never meet them again, but in those moments, life felt lively. Itās a rare feeling these days.

While leaving Aunty asked me to visit them sometime even when my friend isnāt here, and the shaadi question came up. As usual, I laughed and talo-fied it.
Coming out really isnāt a one-time thing. Itās an every day struggle unfortunately for gay people.

The kids look so small and so cute. Harry's scared look in those pre-Hogwarts shots. And that last shot in the Hogwarts Express is so cool. Ron seems goofier than the movies, like it should have been as per the books :D

Imagine the kind of pressure the series creators must be under right now before the first trailer is out- For a reboot of something that has been so iconic (and so recent), holds immense nostalgic value, is bound to face comparisons, and with Rowling facing so much flak.

JUST INšØ: In Osakaās Umeda area, a pipe about 30 meters long and 5 meters in diameter suddenly emerged from underground overnight. It has now risen to around 10 meters, and the cause remains unknown.
Community note
The cause is known: groundwater buoyancy pushed the construction rainwater pipe upward after internal water was drained, reducing its weight. Officials refilled it with water to sink it.

Was struggling with a piece of writing for over 3 weeks. Got done with it last night and it feels like such a relief. I've not been able to focus on anything else all this while considering how crucial this is for my future. Feels like an achievement. Now we wait for the results.
