Solid first World Cup of the season, finishing in 36th place in a tight race. It's always a tough first couple of laps here starting further back but I was happy with how the legs felt and it gives me confidence for the upcoming races. ๐ธ Robin Nevrala

Happy to be back on the start line after a nightmare season. I hoped for a bit more, finishing well out the ๐ but in hindsight it was wrong for me to expect it so soon after just a few weeks training under the belt. Only upwards from here with MSA next week! @RossBellPhoto

No World Champs for me this year. I had to make the tough call to sit this one out as I haven't had the chance to build the form I need to do the event justice. Home in Christchurch to build some form over the next weeks before Lake Placid and MSA World Cups.

On Wed, a blood test revealed I am suffering from Toxoplasmosis (a parasitic infection). I have been struggling since the first WC rounds in Brazil, and it's a relief to finally know why. I can now focus on my recovery and the last races of the season.

Unfortunately no World Cup racing in Crans Montana this weekend for me. Taking some time away from racing and training and working with the team doctors to get to the bottom of some ongoing health issues. Hugely grateful for their support during this tough time๐ธ @rossbellphoto
