the best interface is usually the one i stop noticing
that is my problem with Apple Liquid Glass
it pulls attention to itself
the app has a job
the user has a goal
the os should quietly help them meet
not stand in the middle showing off and draining energy

i helped with the website
shopify setup
logo refinement
indiegogo campaign
content
shoots
partnership ideas
and go to market thinking
but as the role grew
the alignment got harder
me and the founder
who also designed the bike
saw the execution differently
not personal
just different visions
that taught me something important

a thought that gave me relief about ai and design
design is never perfectly right
in code you can often point to
performance latency
bandwidth or a failed test
in design the signal is messier
perception is biased
context changes everything
access needs change everything
good design is not just what works
it is what fails least for the most people

that is the real challenge for ai
ai improves fastest when feedback is clear
in code you can measure better
or worse
in design the feedback is slower
subjective
and often contradictory
so ai can generate many plausible ideas
but turning them into one coherent design
is much harder

not just workflows
but how i make decisions
what i optimize for
what i refuse to compromise on
the goal is simple
build a small army of agents
that can help me execute
without losing quality
or the philosophy behind the work

now i hear from dribbble and it’s low effort selling
and it’s a bummer
