Just to clarify: I post books and observations that I think might help some people understand more about what they are interested in. I am not on a mission to convince anyone of my personal views. 📚 📖 📜 🕯 💡

Come and enjoy a night filled with beautiful music from our talented U.S. Army and Marine Corps Military Bands (ONLY THE HITS THAT YOU KNOW AND LOVE!), the highly gifted Christopher Macchio, and our friend, Lee Greenwood, performing the Greatest Hit of All Time, GOD BLESS THE U.S.A. You will also bear witness to impressive Military flyovers featuring precision Fighter Jets and Stealth Bombers, which will be flown by our U.S. Military Pilots, who have proven to be the most Elite Pilots anywhere in the World. This Patriotic Tribute will take place on the Main Stage at the Freedom 250 Great American State Fair located on our Majestic National Mall, in what is now one of the safest Cities in the World, Washington D.C., which we are beautifying to levels never seen before. See you at 7 P.M. EST on Wednesday, June 24th. We are going to have fun, and celebrate America! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

When this photo was taken in the 1950s, this building was one of the last in Belleville to have an original porte-cochère. Our research indicates that it sat in the 200 block of E. Washington on the north side of the street. It seems that it was demolished around 1965.

Disclosure isn’t just about information. It’s about people and how they process it.
uNHIdden launches Preparedness Plan - a public health approach to disclosure Today uNHIdden publishes Preparing for Disclosure ‒ the first public health preparedness framework for paradigm-shifting discoveries. Governments prepare for pandemics, natural disasters and industrial incidents. Almost nobody is preparing for the human consequences of a discovery that fundamentally changes how people understand themselves and their place in the universe. Whatever is disclosed, people matter. #uNHIdden #PublicHealth #Disclosure #OntologicalShock youtu.be/gD465Vxwsb8?si=61Ma…

The Bahamas: The U.S. Embassy in Nassau advises U.S. citizens of the risks of operating or accepting rides from operators of jet skis due to the lack of enforcement of safety regulations in The Bahamas. The U.S. Embassy in Nassau has received several reports of jet ski operators sexually assaulting U.S. citizen women. Due to security risks and the lack of safety regulation enforcement, U.S. government employees working in The Bahamas are prohibited from renting and using jet skis on New Providence and Paradise islands. Meta President Dina Powell McCormick announcing that every blind veteran in America can be eligible to receive a free pair of Meta AI glasses, calling the effort a way to help veterans “regain their independence.” Joining Army veteran Don Overton, who lost his eyesight after serving in Desert Storm, McCormick highlights Overton's role in shaping the technology. Overton spent more than a year working with Meta’s design team to make the glasses more useful for blind veterans. The program aims to give those who sacrificed for the country more freedom, confidence, and independence in everyday life. | @foxandfriends

An historic bank is reopening in Philadelphia. After decades of being closed, the restoration of the First Bank of the United States in Philadelphia is complete. The bank and the building itself are integral to the history of the U.S. economy. Alexander Hamilton, then Secretary of the Treausry, designed the plan for the bank. The bank helped stabilized the country’s finances, created a more reliable national currency, and laid the future groundwork for a national credit and banking system. The historic building will be celebrated with a sold-out reopening gala on June 16 and will officially reopen to the public on July 1, welcoming visitors back into one of the nation’s most important financial landmarks. I am honored to be a part of that gala. Congratulations to the National Park Service and the Independence Historical Trust, the philanthropic nonprofit partner that raises private support for Independence National Historical Park, for helping bring this remarkable project to life. 🚨 SCIENTISTS JUST USED ORDINARY SUNLIGHT TO DO SOMETHING PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT TO REQUIRE LASERS. And it could change how we think about practical quantum technologies. In a new experiment, researchers showed that ordinary sunlight can pump a nonlinear crystal and produce pairs of correlated photons via spontaneous parametric down-conversion. They then used these pairs to perform “ghost imaging,” where one photon is detected while its partner forms an image even though the imaging photon never directly interacted with the object. This works because the photons in each pair are quantum-correlated in time and momentum, even though sunlight itself is incoherent. The team managed to generate usable pairs despite the challenges of using broadband, unpolarized sunlight. Why this matters: • Most quantum optics experiments rely on expensive, narrowband lasers • Using sunlight could make certain quantum technologies simpler and more accessible • Ghost imaging with sunlight opens possibilities for remote sensing, low-light imaging, and quantum-enhanced detection without artificial light sources • It proves that quantum correlations can survive in real-world, messy light conditions The deeper implication: For a long time, quantum optics was seen as something that only works in highly controlled lab environments with perfect laser light. This experiment shows that nature’s own light sunlight can also produce useful quantum effects. While practical applications are still early, it hints at a future where quantum technologies might not always need complex laser systems. Sometimes the best light source is the one that’s been shining on us the whole time. We’re learning that the quantum world isn’t as fragile or picky as we once thought. How do you think using natural sunlight for quantum effects could change practical quantum technologies in the future? Follow for more frontier quantum optics and surprising uses of everyday physics.

Connecticut liberals are MELTING DOWN over a private freedom fest thrown by Navy SEAL and @NEWSMAX host @CarlHigbie Connecticut state police sources tell us that individuals demanded he be arrested for "reckless endangerment" and "being scary" - despite the fact that it was being supervised by first responders and extensive safety precautions were in place. Higbie, who violated no state laws (except for being a freedom-loving patriot in a Communist state), responded simply: "The brisket was on POINT." #thinblueline #lawenforcement
