We get our industry news from @Any_Cable's Broadcast. Issue #33 came with the sad news that Heroku is no longer taking on new business and is moving into maintenance mode.
Heroku users can keep running things as usual for now, but it might be a good time to start looking at alternatives.

Now, we should add a Durable Streams API endpoint.
