This will be my new pinned tweet, documenting my case for a South-Western Scottish identity and reasserting our unique local heritage that has been forgotten. The South-West contains everything that makes Scotland great.

25 fouls - 1 yellow card to Haiti by the way.
The referee of #Haiti vs #Scotland is extremely biased against Haiti

First Scotland game of my life and we win. I love it. We played like shit but I don't care. I'm so proud to be Scottish and proud of our team.

Amusing that they fly the flag of the Spanish Republic when the Republicans routinely criticised Franco for bringing in so many Moroccans. Republican marching songs and propaganda were defined by a hatred for "the Moors". Here's a Catalan poster as an example.
Nazis flee as 10,000 anti-fascists reclaim our streets. So proud of our anti-fascist city today!

Back in the mid-19th century there was one thing that brought Catholics and Protestants together in Glasgow: temperance. The movement originated in western Scotland and was popular across the entirety of the British middle classes and many workers too - backed by many Chartists!

The Temperance movement declined by the end of the century but some currents still had sway. The Prohibition Party was formed in Scotland by communists and won one of two seats in Dundee, gaining the seat from Winston Churchill.

The world views us as a country of hateful drunks and there are people who are proud of it. So embarrassing. I hope we never qualify for anything again and fade into irrelevance. "Scotland" should have the same name recognition as Togo or Tajikistan.
