Very random nostalgia thought
God it was brilliant experiencing Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka feud as an almost mythological thing via tiny RealVideo clips and to the point when I eventually got to see the VHS and it lived up to the hype
Ice Train & Scott Norton x The Steiner Brothers. Fans of the heavy stuff got to enjoy a fierce early-Nitro era rivalry as Fire and Ice took it to The Steiners shot for shot. (1996) ☠️
Pretty big shock and very sad to see this
I think we put the wrestling world to rights in at least 3 countries together, there was an inevitability I’d just turn around and see him at some point at shows
Rest Easy
Unfortunately I have some sad news to share with the Irish/UK/European graps community
Ian Dignam has unfortunately passed away
Due to the disparate nature of social media his family have asked me to pass on the news
Condolences can be shared here rip.ie/death-notice/ian-dign…
Sad to say this but outside of whatever Japan or CMLL people are around it’s hard to see the Indy aspect of mania weekend being anything but on its last legs
Between WWE steamrolling over Bloodsport and just the lack of star power to carry shows
Sad but it feels past it now
