I was quietly reflecting, come next Friday, just what will electorate of the rest of the nation think of the voters in Makerfield.

Milliband a man who was utterly rejected by the electorate as he led what should have been a win over a Tory Party to defeat. A man now in line to be the chancellor of the exchequer. A man who claimed a company he as a minister held control over was independent in its climate prediction findings. He cannot be trusted at any level. As a threat to national security with his net zero fanaticism, he may soon hold the chequebook with which he could cripple the nation. Even the Guardian see him for just what he is. theguardian.com/politics/201…

My response last year to those seeking to replace the Monarch with some elected political head. Nothing has changed
@DawnNeesom @PeterTatchell @GBNEWS It's "Trooping the colours" not "of the colours", and is steeped in the traditional link between the Monarch and the military. And the argument Peter made that Versailles gets more visitors than the UK Royal palaces might suggest a couple of things. 1. France by nature is now more attractive to visit. 2. The French who visit there mourn their Monarch. But I suggest Peter would also rail against a political head akin to Trump sitting at the helm. The anti monarchists can beat their own tin drum or tambourine elsewhere. The End.

In March 2025, the last surviving pilot of the Battle of Britain died at the age of 105. He had been shot down four times. He survived a burning cockpit, the sea, a parachute that snagged in a tree, and a fall behind enemy lines. When he died, the last of Churchill's "Few" was gone forever. This is the story of Paddy Hemingway..🧵1/6

Someone in the press should ask Sir Mark, how much his latest 'rotation' policy is costing, where he is moving fully trained experienced officers from specialist roles back to front line policing, and replacing them with newly trained-up officers at vast expense - in both skills loss and training costs. One would think that this type of flawed ideological initiative could only be implemented when @metpoliceuk have money to burn. The fact that they're embarking on it now, when at the same time Sir Mark is crying foul over a funding crisis, is absurd. Tenure (forced rotation of officers to achieve diversity quotas) is something I covered in depth on the @SpeechUnion podcast with @DavidRoseUK youtu.be/HxzeUbC3SCc?si=KnCT…

This is the jury system exposed for all to see.
This is surely some kind of offence?

Predictably the pro-Pals have kicked off outside court and are blocking the prison van from leaving. Where’s the riot police?

Palestine Action activist Samuel Corner, 23 who fracturing the spine of a female police officer with a sledgehammer has been sentenced to seven years eight months in prison. The conviction follows his part in an attack on an Israel-based defence firm in Bristol on August 6th 2024. Corner, a former Oxford student, struck PC Kate Evans twice in the back with the seven pound weapon during his attack. The judge Mr Justice Johnson told Corner he had used "extreme and gratuitous force against a vulnerable police officer acting in the course of her duties".

So Kyle is confident in a plan he hasn’t seen, whilst ignoring the fact two minister who have seen it have resigned as a result of its content. Sycophantically loyal to @Keir_Starmer and displaying utter contempt toward the intelligence of the electorate and the integrity of former Ministers. Real questions about the integrity and ability of the Government
Labour’s Peter Kyle having a car crash interview. Peter Kyle: The plan is great. Naga Munchetty: Have you seen the plan? Kyle: No. We know who has seen the defence plan. John Healey and Al Carns, and they both resigned over it. Labour are a mess. They can’t stop lying.

Let us not forget Carn’s position with regard to veterans
Replying to @MarkJLittlewood
@MarkJLittlewood @PatrickChristys But Carns won’t pass this sniff test with many veterans. He dodged the Northern Ireland troubles vote.

Just a reminder of another police officer lost to suicide. Have GMP ever fully explained the decision of an HR manager who would have dismissed this officer had he not resigned. I note to date @gmpolice “misconduct outcomes” on their website does not appear to give any expanded facts as is the norm. Is this for legal reasons ?.
Replying to @PocketSergeant
In 2025 a former Greater Manchester Police Inspector resigned from policing. A later finding in September 2025 by his force's Chief Resource Officer Lee Rawlison concluded had he not resigned he would have been dismissed. The image below appears to be the listed finding. Unusually I am unable to find the detailed ruling facts (redacted or otherwise) The former officer, inspector Jonathan Ezard died on 31st March 2026 having fallen from Barton bridge over the M60 near Salford. gmp.police.uk/police-forces/… His family said. "The circumstances in which Jon left the police service a misconduct allegation that was unfairly characterised, pursued and decided upon utterly devastated him, as did the fact that his appeal, which we expected to succeed, was never given a date to be heard."

We owe those who serve the UK the kit to do the job and the loyalty to stand by them when it's done. We are failing on both. I’ve spent my whole time in government making that case. Number 10 will not listen, so I am resigning as Minister for the Armed Forces. Letter to the PM below.🫡🫡🫡⬇️⬇️
