Recently, Appleton Fire Department members ran our annual Driver Academy. Training like this helps ensure our future Driver/Engineers are prepared to safely and effectively operate the equipment our community relies on every day.

May 15, 2019 - Our brother Mitch Lundgaard was killed in the line of duty. Mitch was treating a patient for a drug overdose. The patient pulled a handgun and began shooting. Mitch was killed by the person he had just saved. He is survived by his wife and three sons. He was 36.
