We (AR3NA) will be the tournament organizer for Epicbet Open #1 partnered by @EpicBet1X2 From June 29th to July 5th 12 teams will battle it out for a 10,000 USD prize pool with 6,000 going to the winner, 2,000 to the second place and 1,000 to each of the 3rd-4th placed teams The tournament will feature 4 VRS invites who will be going straight into the single elimination playoffs. 8 other teams from open qualifiers will start in 2 GSL groups where the top 2 teams will advance into playoffs. Direct invites For the direct invites, 2 teams will be from a filtered EU VRS list with only teams with a Polish core (meaning 3 or more players), starting with the rank 1 team on this list. 2 other teams will be from a filtered EU VRS list consisting of teams with a core consisting of players from the following countries: Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Croatia. We will also start with the rank 1 team from this filter. Both VRS lists will be filtered from the EU VRS list for June, published on June 1st, which will also be the VRS list used for seeding for the main event. Invites will start on June 1st The tournament will be played entirely online in EU servers. Schengen VISA rules therefore apply. Regarding open qualifiers: The tournament will feature 4 open qualifiers with 8 teams qualifying for the event. Dates will be announced at a later time, and the following quailifiers will not necessarily be held in the chronological order as below listed. Q1: Only teams with a core from Poland can participate. 1 team will qualify from this qualifier Q2: Only teams with a core from Czech Republic Slovakia can participate. 3 teams will qualify from this qualifier, Q3: Only teams with a core from Slovenia Croatia Hungary can participate. 2 teams will qualify from this qualifier Q4: Only teams with a core from Slovenia Croatia Hungary can participate. 2 teams will qualify from this qualifier In the event the open qualifiers take place before the June 1st VRS list is out, the seeding for the open qualifiers will follow the May 4th EU VRS list followed by FACEITs default seeding (support.faceit.com/hc/en-us/…) AR3NA reserves the right to disqualify teams from a Direct VRS invite should a player on the team be banned by ESL FACEIT Group, ESIC or other major tournaments organizers, via Valve Anti Cheat, or on any anti-cheating platform (including, but not limited to FACEIT and Akros)
