Honestly, hosting the
@PHI_Stellar 2026 for the first time felt surreal 🚀
@riseinweb3
A few months ago, we were just doing bootcamps, workshops, and builder meetups hoping more people in the Philippines would try building on Stellar.
Then this week happened.
Almost 40 teams registered. Students, founders, developers, first-time hackers, and builders from different communities all joined and pushed themselves to build something real.
What honestly made me emotional was seeing 30 teams deploy on Mainnet within 72 hours. Not just testnet. Actual Mainnet deployments.
I know how difficult blockchain can feel especially for beginners, so seeing teams stay up late debugging, asking questions, helping each other, jumping on mentoring calls, and still managing to ship was something I really appreciated a lot.
As someone organizing a Web3 hackathon for the first time in the Philippines, I genuinely learned so much from the experience.
From the chaos behind the scenes, to checking submissions, mentoring teams, handling workshops, and seeing the final demos come together it was all worth it seeing builders actually build.
Really proud of everyone who joined no matter how big or small the progress was. Shipping something in a few days already takes courage.
