this has consistently pissed me off. simon is a main character and kristian is a LEAD but he is rarely treated like it (by both paramount and fans). anyway it makes me really sad that this treatment has extended to something as important as the emmys.

It’s come to my attention the cast of School Spirits has been considered for Emmy nominations thanks to Paramount. Some fans are confused that despite being the lead, I was placed in a different category.
It hurt to see, since it felt consistent with a pattern I’ve experienced on the show, including its marketing. But Milo is a talented, good friend of mine who I’m happy to see his work recognized.
Studios make decisions all the time I don’t understand, but don’t want to. Energy you expend on one thing is less energy that can be spent on another. The true reward is performing, collaborating, and seeing audiences connect with the work. Recognition is meaningful, but it has never been the reason I do this.
I am so grateful. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and spoken up. It means more than you know.
